Highview Stud Fillies Rebate Rises To 100 Per Cent

Highview Stud has announced it will now offer a 100 per cent fillies rebate to breeders for the 2011 breeding season.

Owners of broodmares that patronise a Highview Stud stallion in 2011 and the mare subsequently foals a filly in 2012 will qualify for a 100 per cent rebate on the service fee paid in 2011.

Highview Stud Sires Provide Great Returns

Highview Stud sires Danroad and Align once again provided very profitable results for breeders at the 2011 New Zealand Bloodstock yearling sales series at Karaka.

“The ultimate goal for every breeder is to get a profitable return at the sales on the service fees they paid and in the case of Danroad and Align this has clearly been the case,” said Highview Stud managing director Brent Gillovic.

Align Has Sixth Group 1 Performer

Smart Murray and Bjorn Baked-trained 3yo On The Level became the sixth Group 1 performer for Highview Stud sire Align with his game third placing behind Jimmy Choux in the $2.2 million Telecom New Zealand Derby (2400m) at Ellerslie on Saturday.

On The Level (ex Springtime Romance) the winner of two races and placed on another four occasions, had finished second in his previous start in the Group 2 Avondale Guineas at Ellerslie.
